Clonshire Equestrian Centre offers top quality horseback riding lessons in dressage, show jumping and cross country jumping for eventers at novice through intermediate level. The centre is run by Sue Foley, a British Horse Society rated instructor and her husband Dan, who is a well known steeplechase jockey. Clonshire Equestrian Centre is home to the famous County Limerick Fox Hounds and the prestigious Limerick Horse Trials. The centre is located in County Limerick in the heart of Ireland's best horse country.

The five day long program includes lessons in all aspects of eventing with special emphasis on those areas you wish to develop further. You will ride for three one hour lessons or, if you wish and are capable, hack through the surrounding countryside using what you have learned under practical circumstances in place of a lesson.

So whether you would like to work on your dressage, your stadium jumping or your cross country jumping you will be able to concentrate on your areas of greatest interest. Your instructor will work with you on areas of your riding in keeping with your goals. The horses are well schooled Irish Hunter types and are kept very fit.

You will have one afternoon off to enjoy Ireland as you wish. You can golf, play tennis, shop, or just walk around the thatched roof houses of Adare, Ireland's prettiest village. You will stay at the nearby Dunraven Arms Hotel. This well appointed hotel is a favorite stop for horse people from around the world. The Hunter's Bar is frequently packed with revelers after a day spent fox hunting, when tall stories flow with the tall glasses of Guinness.
