 
Cross Country International is proud to offer clients the fantastic opportunity to attend the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany this summer. The inaugural FEI World Equestrian Games were held in Stockholm, Sweden in 1990. The World Equestrian Games in the disciplines of jumping, dressage, driving, eventing, vaulting, and endurance, were next held in 1994 at The Hague, in the Netherlands. This was followed in 1998 by Rome. The fourth games were staged in September 2002 in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. At these games, for the first time, a seventh championship discipline was added, reining.
The FEI World Championships 2006 will have the spectators holding their breath for nearly two weeks.
Cross Country International will be offering two customized packages catering to either the Dressage or the Show Jumping enthusiast.
Dressage VIP packages
August 21 – 27, 2006
 Dressage, often called the high school of equestrian art, expresses the harmony between horse and rider. With almost invisible aids the dressage rider brings the horse to the highest degree of collection. At the Grand Prix level, for example at the Olympic Games, the participants must perform the most difficult of exercises such as the piaffe, where the horse appears to trot in place.
A particular highlight for the spectator and an extraordinary challenge for the participant is the Grand Prix Freestyle (Kür). In the freestyle not only is the correct execution of the individual exercises important but the aesthetic aspect also plays a role. The music is arranged to accommodate the particular movements of horse and rider where ideally the horse appears to move in rhythm to the music. A good freestyle is a pleasure to watch even for the uninitiated dressage spectator.

Jumping VIP packages
August 28 – September 4, 2006
 The many, diverse jumping competitions continually provide new challenges for horse and rider. In spite of sometimes breathtaking speed, precision is essential. The horse and rider must conquer the course with as few faults as possible. Usually the winner is decided with a jump off, where the participants go all out. Depending on the type of competition, the winner is the rider with the fewest faults, the fastest time or the most points.
