You will start your first day of riding after a traditional Irish breakfast. Your mounts will take you pass quaint local villages, over ancient Celtic trails and through rural farmlands. Each night you will return to your comfortable guesthouse where you will be served traditional Irish dinners by the open Irish peat fire. One afternoon you will visit the Dartfield Horse Museum which tells the 5,000 year old story of man's relationship with the horse. There are also live exhibits where some of the world's favorite breeds of horses can be seen ranging from some of the biggest horses in the world to the smallest. During the week you will also have a special treat to visit the village of Bunratty to enjoy an elaborate medieval dinner banquet in Bunratty's 14th century castle, complete with traditional music and Irish dancing for your entertainment.

The morning of St. Patrick's Day you are chauffeured into Galway for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. This elaborate parade, in the historic Galway city, gives you a chance to immerse yourself in real Irish culture, experience local traditions, and learn about Irish heritage. After the parade you will be taken on a guided tour of the famous medieval city.
