Peru's Mountain Lodges in the Foothills of the Andes

This unique horseback vacation begins on the beach near the Pachacamac ruins riding along the shore and through Inca ruins on the “Caballo de Paso,” known worldwide for their smooth gaited movements and unusual spirit. You then travel high into the Tupe Mountains to Peru’s premier Vinak-Reichraming Lodge. There,you will be atop renowned American Quarter Horses and Arabians on trails of rolling hills, technical high-mountain terrain, and portions of Vinak’s own high-altitude endurance race course. A special feature of this ride is an introduction to the revolutionary training program “Equulinquistics,” designed to help each rider enhance communication with their horse.
