Hi Cross Country!

G'Day! Here we are at the Bellbird Retreat, and it's glorious. Our hosts are attentive and hospitable, the accommodations relaxing and tranquil, the views breathtaking.

Two days ago we rode the expanse of Noosa Beach down to the panhandle with the Australian sun capturing each sparkle of the ocean's waves. Our horses expertly maneuvered through the sand and surf, and the riding experience was the thrill of a lifetime.

Yesterday was riding in the lush rainforest here at Bellbird, and although the ride was challenging, we had time to take in the sights of the bush, which contained hidden treasures of wallaby's, Bellbirds, Larakeetes, and red deer. The terrain was fantastic, with dips and dives and opportunities of 360 degree views. Magical!

Our fearless and skilled leader, Alex, has matched us each perfectly to horses of extreme fitness and lovely dispositions.

Hello Cross Country!

We’ve only been here a day and we’re already having a blast! Here we are on the Kin Kin Trail in Noosa, Queensland. We love the open, pristine beach trails and we even found time to catch some waves after the day’s riding was over. Yesterday we stopped at the Australia Zoo, home of many species of local wildlife and the late, great Steve Irwin. Tomorrow we’re looking forward to exploring the Noosa Trails more and our surfing lessons!
