Lynn, we got back from Costa Rica on the 22nd and I just wanted to tell you that it was absolutely WONDERFUL !! We had a blast! Erika has great horses, and the rides were perfect, the beaches gorgeous, the accommodations fabulous, and the people were great! Katrine was our guide and what a sweetie, and it turned out there was only one other girl riding with us…Anna and her crazy Russian mother who didn’t ride but they were a hoot!
We were really impressed with the program, and it was so diverse with the visit to the farm and Isabel’s ranch for the riding demo and absolutely loved the Luna Azul!! What an awesome way to hit the big 50!!! I have never done any “organized” tour of any kind, usually just wing it ourselves, but we were very impressed and pleased with the ride! AND, I just noticed you have added some more in Europe to the website……torture! I am already planning ahead and would happily highly recommend your tours to any rider! It was just the right amount of riding for us, we took the Wednesday off to just play at the beach and rest our butts and we totally happy with the amount of cantering and gallops that we got in!!
So, it was the best! And hopefully we will be booking something else in the near future! Just have to save up some more shekels!! Hahahaha
I would send some pics but don’t want to put anyone off seeing old people on horses!! Ahahhahaha We should have done the ride when we had better tans so we’d looked better!!! But, hey….way to go old guys!!

I wanted to write and let you know what a great time we had on the Costa Rica trip. It was just us and a couple from Oklahoma, so it was a nice small group. On Wednesday we went to Rincon de la Vieja National Park. It was quite an adventurous day of tubing down the Rio Negro and zip-lining, ending with a mud bath and soaking in the hot springs. We spent time on our last day at the Miss Sky Canopy Tour. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Erika did a great job at choosing horses for us, and she was an excellent tour guide. Galloping on the beach was such a fun experience. Costa Rica is extremely beautiful and the people there are very friendly. The food we had everywhere was delicious. Unfortunately the week ended way too soon. I definitely plan on going on another CCI trip, and visiting Costa Rica again!
