Holiday Rides Around the World

This holiday season say “Feliz Navidad” south of the border on our beautiful Argentinean Estancia ride. Full of tradition and history and cradle of the best Polo in the world, they are part of the way Argentina was made.

With your gaucho guides, you will explore the landscape and lifestyle of the Pampas in this true working ranch. Enjoy the excellent local cuisine, comfortable accommodations and tasteful decoration, etc. and, as the sun sets, watch the spectacular stars of the southern hemisphere that cover the sky.

Each day you will ride the ranch and surrounding countryside. You can balance this riding adventure with the more relaxed activities of fishing, trekking, carriage driving, bird watching, swimming pool, etc. The last day will be dedicated to Polo: the King of Sports, the sport of Kings. Easy going and at your own pace.

Fabulous gourmet meals include traditional Argentinean fare and of course, wine. Your farewell dinner will be famous Argentina “Asado” barbeque by an open fire.

Spend your Christmas riding and training in the Italian countryside. Your accommodations for the week are a four-star equestrian estate, located just outside Rome, with an on-location British Horse Society approved equestrian center.

This Christmas, ride trails past Etruscan ruins in the morning and in the afternoon train on excellent horses in dressage, show jumping or cross country. Enjoy traditional Italian Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners around the elaborate “Presepe,” or Nativity. A very special option on this trip is a visit to Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome on Christmas Day.

Stay on a Provencial farm for a week of trail riding and wine tasting in this most beautiful province. You will ride out each day exploring the hills, forests, farms and villages of this breathtaking countryside riding Camargue, Selle Francais or mixed breed horses.

The atmosphere of this area reflects the Mediterranean lifestyle. Sièste (French for nap) are an every day occurrence and one that you will get accustomed to easily. A highlight will be the traditional Provencal dinner on New Year's Eve.

Get away to Virginia’s Hunt Country for a true Colonial holiday this Thanksgiving or Christmas.  Or, if you want to ring in the New Year, enjoy a gallop through the wonderful countryside and dance into the new year at the black tie dinner dance.  Spend five nights of rest and relaxation in a charming historic Inn showcased on Virginia’s Historic Register.
